Sourcing

Origin first.

Multi-region sourcing across India's pulse, grain, spice and nut belts. Long-standing relationships with farmer collectives and regional traders. Every lot is sampled before it reaches the floor.

Processing

Cleaned, graded, finished.

Modern de-stoning, sorting and milling lines operate across our Nawanshahr and Indore facilities, supported by laser-guided optical sorting systems for precise defect removal. Each batch undergoes multi-stage cleaning — mechanical separation, handpicking and metal detection — to eliminate physical contaminants. For ready-to-cook products, controlled nitrogen flushing is applied to preserve freshness and extend shelf life. The entire process is designed to deliver uniform grain quality with consistent performance across batches.

Packaging

Format-ready.

From refined 10g consumer packs to robust 50kg bulk formats, we craft packaging that reflects both precision and scale — pouches, jars, vacuum packs, elegant gift boxes, and shelf-ready cartons. Every pack is elevated with bespoke artwork, fully compliant regulatory labeling, and market-specific barcoding, seamlessly tailored for global distribution.

Quality & Compliance

Audited, repeatedly.

FSSC 22000 framework, SEDEX SMETA ethical audit, US FDA registration, HACCP and FSSAI. Independent lab verification on a recurring schedule.

Sustainability

Quality, with a longer time horizon.

Sustainability at Aplus Foods is the same instinct as quality: do the work properly the first time, in a way that the next generation — of workers, of farmers, of consumers — can build on.

Solar power generation

Daylight, on the meter.

Rooftop photovoltaic arrays at our manufacturing units offset a meaningful share of grid electricity used in milling, packaging and cold storage — reducing scope-2 emissions and shielding production costs from energy-price volatility.

Rainwater harvesting

Every monsoon, returned to the aquifer.

Roof catchments, paved courtyards and dedicated recharge pits at both plants channel monsoon runoff back into the ground rather than into stormwater drains — an investment in the same water table our farmer partners depend on.

Recyclable packaging

Designed to leave the shelf, not the planet.

We are progressively migrating our retail and bulk packaging toward mono-material and recycle-ready structures — paper-led pouches with food-safe windows, recycled-content shippers, and FSC-certified labels — working with our converters on a roadmap to fully recyclable formats across the portfolio.

Local community upliftment

A factory is its neighbourhood.

Our procurement is anchored in the regional growing belts around each plant — pulses from Punjab, spices and millets from central India — keeping value with local farmers, FPOs and small traders. We also support village-level initiatives in education, sanitation and seasonal employment around our facilities.

Women empowerment

Skilled work. Steady wage. Real careers.

Women hold a meaningful share of roles on our sorting, grading, packing and quality lines — with structured training, supervisory pathways and the same SMETA-audited labour standards that apply across the workforce. Hiring and progression at Aplus Foods is on merit, full stop.

A shared file

Our sustainability roadmap is open to partners.

We share progress data, audit references and packaging-transition timelines with retailers and institutional buyers under NDA — so your scorecard reflects what we actually do.
