Who we are

About

The company

Built quietly. Shipped widely.

Aplus Foods is the operating arm of Aplus Group — a sixty-five-year-old Indian food house, with its registered office at Naya Bazar, Delhi, and processing facilities in Nawanshahr (Punjab) and Indore (Madhya Pradesh) — that has spent its entire life on one job: making the staples of the Indian kitchen reliably, repeatedly, at scale.

Who we are

We are the quiet engine behind some of India's most-trusted shelves — and the reason a private-label pulse in Riyadh, a millet flour in Toronto, and an everyday daal in Lucknow can taste, cook and weigh exactly as promised.

Leadership

A family business, run as a discipline.

Three generations. Four directors. One uninterrupted relationship with the staples of the Indian kitchen.

In memoriam

Late Sri Ajit Singh Arora

1921 – 2001 · Aged 80

Founder · Aplus Group · Est. 1958

Born into a lower-middle-class family of meagre means in pre-Partition Punjab, he lost his father early and learned self-reliance young. After escaping near-death incidents during the Partition of India, he finally came and settled in Nawanshahr, Punjab, where he began his career.

In 1958, with very little beyond conviction, he set up a small shop trading in oil seeds, pulses and cattle feed. Inspired by the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita and the Guru Granth Sahib, he carried the values of integrity and adaptability into every part of his personal and professional life — and wrote them, quietly, into the DNA of the company he was building.

Six and a half decades on, everything downstream — two plants, three brands, nine categories, exports to four continents — is, in one reading, still just a continuation of what he started with that single shop in Nawanshahr.

Where we work

Four locations. Two facilities. One standard.

Aplus Group is registered out of Naya Bazar, Delhi — the historic spice-and-grain market that has anchored the trade for generations. Manufacturing happens across two facilities — our original base in Nawanshahr, Punjab, and a second plant in Indore, Madhya Pradesh — each sited close to the origin of the crops it handles. And an international presence in Dubai keeps us close to buyers across the Middle East and beyond.
